Match directors across the PRS and NRL circuits are awaiting clarification on whether competitors found with unregistered CRDs will face immediate disqualification, a federal felony, or perhaps even a mandated remedial course on 'Bag Stop Retention Theory.' The industry consensus, however, anticipates that the millions in projected tax stamp revenue will be "reinvested into enhancing match infrastructure and prize tables," perhaps finally funding that fully-automated, sentient barricade we’ve all been dreaming of.
