CANCON is slated to bring its unique brand of suppressed shooting to Las Vegas for 2026, with the event scheduled for October 22nd through 24th at the Boulder Rifle & Pistol Club. This new location and dates promise an expanded experience for attendees and sponsors, focusing on a wide array of suppressed firearms and additional interactive programs.
The core of CANCON remains its extensive suppressed shooting opportunities. Attendees will have access to hundreds of suppressors from dozens of manufacturers, available for shooting throughout the day. The lineup is reported to span from "Hollywood quiet .22 LR guns to big .30 Cals," including diverse platforms from revolvers to a mini-gun, offering a broad spectrum of firearms for attendees to experience firsthand.
General admission tickets for the event are currently available. For those seeking an enhanced experience, VIP tickets are scheduled to go on sale on July 4th at 9 AM PST. These VIP passes offer several exclusive benefits, including a special VIP-only early access day on Thursday, October 22nd. This dedicated day is designed to provide reduced wait times on the firing lines, early access to vendor SWAG, and first selection from the CANCON merchandise store. VIP ticket holders also receive a "highly coveted CANCON VIP Bag" filled with various items. While the contents of the 2026 bag are not yet disclosed, a previous CANCON event in South Carolina reportedly featured a VIP bag that included a suppressor from IWI, an AK rifle from Century Arms, a Rarebreed Forced-Reset AR trigger, and a Mantis training pistol. The organizers advise setting an alarm for VIP ticket sales, noting they typically sell out in minutes.
Beyond the firing line, CANCON 2026 will reintroduce OFFGRID BASECAMP. This segment offers attendees a chance to step away from the live-fire ranges to participate in practical lessons and hands-on training. Seasoned survival and adventure experts will guide participants through various scenarios, utilizing the latest outdoor and survival gear. The focus is on gaining knowledge and tools to thrive in diverse environments, covering essentials for both weekend enthusiasts and dedicated survivalists.
A competitive element also returns with the "Pros vs Joes" competition series. This challenge randomly selects members from the crowd to compete against industry professionals, including recognized competitive shooters and brand representatives. The format features blind challenges, meaning participants will not know the rules, stages, or firearms until they step up to the line. Participants are chosen spontaneously from the crowd, with no prior sign-ups available. The premise is straightforward: if an attendee outperforms a pro in the assigned challenge, they win a prize. If they do not, they advance to a redemption round against a fellow volunteer from the crowd, with one attendee ultimately going home with gear. A professional video production team is slated to film this competition, with footage planned for release on RECOILtv and YouTube following the event.
The move to Las Vegas and the Boulder Rifle & Pistol Club marks a significant expansion for CANCON, aiming to deliver a comprehensive shooting and outdoor experience across its three-day schedule.
