This fixed-power, 18-inch-long optic, boasting a truly colossal 48mm objective lens, was mounted on an 18-inch Proof Research-barreled JP LRP-07 chambered in 6 ARC. The rifle, typically a nimble, fast-handling platform, was transformed into an unwieldy but undeniably focused instrument, its footprint rivalling that of a small canoe on the firing line.
Competitor Brad "Hawkeye" Jensen, known for his unconventional rigs, deployed the Monolith on Stage 3: "The Barricade Pinpoint." This stage required engagement of a 1/8 MOA square at 25 yards through a 0.75-inch port, followed by a 1/4 MOA circle at 50 yards from the same position. Jensen's initial shot, placed with surgical precision, reportedly cleaved the 1/8 MOA target with sub-milliradian accuracy, leading range officers to question if the target had simply *given up* under the oppressive magnification.
