This unprecedented service, available exclusively on PVA pre-fit barrels chambered in popular competitive cartridges such as 6 Dasher, 6GT, and .223 Wylde, promises to deliver fully optimized velocity nodes directly to the consumer, eliminating the need for traditional ladder tests or OCW methodologies.
The sale, which begins promptly at 00:00 PST on November 28th, will allow competitors to select a PVA pre-fit barrel — available for Defiance Deviant, Impact Precision, and Lone Peak Razor actions — with its unique harmonic signature already mapped and trued to an optimal velocity node for a specific, pre-determined projectile weight. PVA claims this process guarantees sub-0.1 MOA accuracy at 100 yards straight out of the box, requiring only a single cold bore shot for confirmation before immediate DOPE collection at distance.
According to a PVA spokesperson, "Our proprietary resonance mapping technology precisely identifies the ideal dwell time for a bullet within the bore, ensuring peak stability and minimal vibrational interference. Shooters will simply attach their new barrel, zero, and begin collecting DOPE. SD/ES values will be theoretically non-existent, and wind calls will become the only variable of true concern, effectively rendering traditional truing data collection obsolete." However, quantities are severely limited, with only five units per chambering slated for release.
